Karl Richardson has joined Axair Climate as the new Product Manager for packaged air conditioning products. Married with two children Karl has a wealth of experience in air conditioning distribution. His last post was as Business Manager (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) with Dean & Wood, having previously been and Business Manager with the same company. He has also worked at Camco and HRP.

“Not only does Axair Climate offer an incredibly comprehensive range of packaged air conditioning products, it also backs that up with much higher levels of technical support than I have encountered previously,” Karl commented. “I am looking forward to getting to grips with the range and taking it forward,” he continued.

Loaded Gunn in action Motor racing enthusiasts had their first chance to see the Axair Climate-sponsored TS9 Loaded Gunn Supersports car in action in the Sports 2000 championship at Brands Hatch on the 29 th April. After the race, Axair Climate customers also had the chance to take a closer look at the car and meet the driver. The race was one of the largest motor racing events held in the UK this season and the Sports 2000 championship is now rated as one of the leading motor racing events. A great day was had by all and the icing on the cake was the Axair Climate car coming in second place.

Manchester Hevar Our latest exhibition was Manchester Hevar in April, held at Old Trafford football ground. As usual, we exhibited a range of air conditioning and humidification products and rounded the first day off with a dinner for invited customers. After the meal, our guests were treated to a very entertaining talk by former Manchester United and Northern Ireland player Norman Whiteside.
