The latest generation of Hitachi Samurai chillers, only available in the UK from Axair Climate, incorporates extended ranges in both cooling only and heat pump versions - as well as new models - offering even more choice to specifiers and installers.

Air cooled chillers now offer cooling capacities from 106kW to 1030kW and heating capacities from 110kW to 556kW. All models offer unparalleled energy efficiency at full and part loads, combined with low noise, minimal refrigerant volumes and a compact footprint.

Also new to the range is the Samurai Condenserless water cooled chiller, available in capacities from 120kW to 360kW and featuring the latest developments in screw compressor technology. Continuous capacity control allows for a 15-20% energy saving over step control which, with Hitachi's unique electronic control system, enables the chiller to precisely maintain a constant outlet temperature independent of cooling load. This combination features makes the Samurai Condenserless ideal for both air conditioning and process cooling applications.

Advanced features

Common to all Samurai models are advanced features that make these chillers the most versatile units on the market. As noise levels become more critical to many applications, the low noise features of Samurai chillers make them the ideal choice for many applications.

Precisely engineered semi-hermetic screw compressors, meticulous assembly, rubber compressor mounts and acoustically insulated compressor enclosures all combine to offer very low noise levels as standard. And where exceptionally low noise levels are required, the Low Noise and Super Low Noise models offer even quieter performance.
