In 2004 and 2005 an important part of the BlueBox chiller range has been replaced respectively expanded by a new, innovative program. The new range can easily be identified through the add-on “Echos” behind each product name.

• ZETA Echos (ZETA Echos is an air cooled chiller (R410a) with built-in storage tank. This solution simplifies the plant layout and safeguards the compressors, facilitating installation and maintenance and maximising reliability of the unit. Capacities between 40 – 250kW.)
• KAPPA V Echos (The newest and biggest showpiece of the Blue Box range from 156 – 540kW; the new air-cooled water chiller that, thanks to the use of a single screw compressor with both R407C and R134a refrigerant and high efficiency heat exchangers, ensures an excellent level of reliability, very low noise levels, and minimum maintenance. The solutions adopted for this product, is the result of a painstaking phase of analysis and research that made it possible to achieve optimal performance levels, especially in relation to noise-sensitive applications such as hospitals, hotels, residential complexes and offices.)
• OMEGA V Echos ( OMEGA V Echos is a water cooled chiller (R134a) with dry expansion type shell, tube exchangers and screw compressors with variable capacities between 140 and 800 kW. )

Additional Innovations are:

• FACTOTUM ( The FACTOTUM two-pipe hydronic unit 6,1 – 19,8kW is Blue Box Group's solution to complex requirements of summer air conditioning, winter heating, and the production of domestic hot water for small and medium sized buildings.
• EPSILON (The main features of the small EPSILON water chiller 4,5 – 25,6kW are: increased coil area, optimisation of the airflow, low speed axial fans and condensation speed control as a standard function. The result is a minimum noise level. Very short delivery time.
• SIGMA EIS (Chiller and water/water heat pump from 42 – 297kW for E nergy I nstallation S avings. The use of variable flow pumps, for the condenser and the secondary circuit, combined with the free cooling heat exchanger ensures the highest efficiency and a large reduction in energy consumption when compared to standard solutions. According to the needs of each installation, the SIGMA EIS provides a choice of three different primary options: Condenser EIS, Hydraulic Module EIS, and Free Cooling EIS.
